Thanks Leo Babauta
After watching this video yesterday that was all over the news, I became more frustrated with people. The US in particular. They have unemployment soaring, a looming financial cliff that could threaten everything as they know it but they still fight over $9 car chargers like its the freakin apocalypse
Well, if anyone can save the day its Leo Babauta, writer of the blog Zen Habits.
Lets think about what matters this Christmas. Leo has a challenge for you. Read here

Thanks to Career Joy’s Alan Kerns’ Monday Morning Motivator for this piece of resume magic from one of his new hires, Lisa DeRooy.
Lisa, this is fantastic and is so simply and zen like that I had to post it.
If you are looking for a job, take note of how it can be done with a simple textual account of what makes you you.
Since 2008 I have ridden in the Ride to Conquer Cancer, an event that takes you from Toronto to Niagara Falls (200kms) over 2 days – all on your bicycle.
This will be my 5th consecutive ride which puts me at over 1100kms ridden in that event alone (I rode a 2oo mile event in 2010). Whats better though is that I have managed to raise $16000 over the last 4 years and could not have done it with out you. (Go to www.conquercancer.ca/goto/ortepirtcc2012)
Cancer lurks everywhere. Lets kill cancer once and for all. Lets get aggressive. We have the brain power to put men on the moon then why not obliterate this disease.
Lets do it for:
your son or daughter
your mother or father
your cousin, aunt or uncle
or just your fellow human being
